Direct reimbursement agreements with pharmacies
As a member of the fund, you receive direct reimbursement at pharmacies covered by the agreement at the time of purchase. As a member, you only pay the deductible to the pharmacy by presenting your Kela card. Tradeka’s sickness fund has a direct reimbursement agreement with the Finnish Pharmacists’ Association, which includes over 800 pharmacies.
Medical practice services at Suomen Terveystalo Oy/ Pihlajalinna Oy
Suomen Terveystalo Oy and Pihlajalinna Oy is the occupational health care service provider for Tradeka’s sickness fund. You are only liable for a 20% copayment for the doctor’s fee, examination, and treatment. You receive the benefit by stating that you are a member of Tradeka’s sickness fund and presenting your Kela card. In addition, you get the following benefits on regularly priced examinations:
- No service fees (Kanta service may be charged).
- Discounts on various examinations and doctor’s consultations.
Expenses that are not eligible for direct reimbursement must first be paid by yourself and then claimed for compensation from the fund.
Please note that the sickness fund agreement cannot be combined with other offers. If a clinic has a campaign offer you want to use, pay the sum in full at the clinic (with no Kela reimbursements or additional benefits) and apply for the reimbursement later.

Dental care at Suomen Terveystalo Oy and Oral
Tradeka’s sickness fund has a direct reimbursement agreement with Terveystalo and Oral. It is valid in all Terveystalo and Oral locations that offer dentist services. The sickness fund reimburses 500 euros of your dentist and dental hygienist service costs at Terveystalo and Oral per year. You are only liable for 20% copayment. The sickness fund covers 80% of the costs. Agreement services include e.g. the following:
- Basic oral and dental examination by a dentist
- Removal of tartar by a dental hygienist (with dentist’s referral)
- Dental imaging examinations
- Filling and other basic care
- Tooth extraction
- Orthodontics, prosthetics, and dental technology
Please note that Tradeka’s sickness fund does not reimburse aesthetic dental care. All services must be reimbursable by Kela. If maximum reimbursable costs are exceeded, you are liable for the excess.

Members of the sickness fund receive a 5% discount on their visits at Hammas Hohde Oy (excluding dental laboratory and X-ray services). The discount is given by presenting your Kela card. There is no direct reimbursement agreement with Hammas Hohde.
Physiotherapy at Fysios
The fund has a direct reimbursement agreement with Fysios Oy for massage services (unfortunately, direct reimbursement for physiotherapy is not supported by the partner), so you only pay the deductible for massage services at Fysios. The agreement is valid at all Fysios locations that offer massage services.

OMT Physiotherapy: 45 min €88, 60 min €105
Massage at Rela Massage Therapists
The fund offers discounted member prices at Rela Massage Therapists. The direct reimbursement agreement with Rela Massage Therapists ended on 31.12.2024. Reimbursement can be claimed afterwards through the electronic Iris service.

Eyeglasses and eyesight tests
In effect since November 1, 2021, Tradeka’s sickness fund has a direct reimbursement agreement with Instrumentarium, Keops, Nissen and Synsam. It is valid at all stores of the three chains. After a year’s membership, the fund reimburses 80% of eyeglass or contact lens costs. The maximum reimbursement is 250 euros over two calendar years, i.e. every other year.
Sickness fund members also get discounts for eyeglasses, sunglasses and eyesight tests at Instrumentarium, Keops and Nissen.

The benefits are valid indefinitely and only in physical stores. Discounts cannot be combined with campaign offers. If the campaign offer at the store is better than the benefit price, you get the lower price.
You can receive the discounts and direct reimbursement by informing that you are a member of Tradeka’s sickness fund and presenting your Kela card.

Therapy without queues or a referral?
As a member of the fund, you now have the opportunity to use your €1000 mental well-being therapy allowance with direct reimbursement also for Happi Health’s therapy services. Members of the sickness fund can receive reimbursement for therapy without a doctor’s referral.
Happi offers 5–8 session treatment programs tailored to different life situations, such as Worry Help, Sleep Help, and Stress Help. You can choose your own personal therapist, and the sessions are conducted via video consultation—so you’re not tied to any specific location.
The sickness fund covers 80% of all Happi treatment programs (“Help” programs). The member pays a 20% co-payment (total cost: €200.55). The co-payment can be made in 1 to 4 installments.
